Lately I’ve been feeling very inspired and I have two extraordinary ladies to thank for this surge of self empowerment. The first is Georgie Abay, the founder of The Grace Tales. The second is Canna Campbell, the woman behind SugarMamma.TV. You would have known from my Instagram feed that I photograph many contents on their sites. Georgie and Canna are fast-movers. In the world of motherhood, I call that lightning speed. Both are beautiful inside out, exude utter elegance and always so gracious that I often feel like the only thing I have in common with them is that we’ve all given birth. (Fact: Georgie has two! and Canna is a single mom!) Memorable hilarious moments included the times Georgie and I went on road trips Georgie kidnapped me for shoots. Also when I made Canna cross George Street back and forth at sunrise as she wears a tight dress and majorly high heels for the sake of best lighting.
The photos above are from our collaboration for a summer themed shoot – at sunrise, when else?! I had the best fun although not quite sure Georgie felt the same hauling two children and Canna having been out the night before. See details of each gorgeous stuff we got to wear on the fashion story that Georgie had effortlessly laid out on The Grace Tales. It’s been a big week for Georgie as her site just had a big revamp which looks incredible!
Always going with the flow and never questioning my photography, little do these two women realise how so grateful I am for their trust and friendship. I cannot wait for what 2016 has in store for all of us and I’m going to finish this post with my favourite quote – “a candle loses nothing by lighting another candle.”
